An interdistrict kok boru championship was held in the Issyk-Kul region in 4 rounds, in which athletes from Jeti-Oguz, Issyk-Kul, Ton, Issyk-Kul, Karakol and Ak-Suu regions took part.
The main teams participated. The first game took place on December 12 at the Cholpon-Ata hippodrome. The team of the Ak-Suu district became the champion, defeating the team of the Jeti-Oguz district with a score of 7:0 in the final. And the Tyup district took 3rd place, defeating the Ton district with a score of 5:1. The second game took place on January 8 at the equestrian field in Karakol. On the eve of this competition, the Kok Boru Federation installed a safe taikazan at the Karakol hippodrome. During the competition, the President of the Kok Boru Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ramis Dzhunusaliev, presented a certificate worth 1 million soms to representatives of the Kok Boru of the Issyk-Kul region, aimed at developing the national game in the Issyk-Kul region. Letters of gratitude were also presented to honored figures.
According to the results of the games, Tyup district took 1st place, Ak-Suu district took 2nd place, and Jeti-Oguz district took 3rd place.
The third tournament was held on January 22 in Karakol, where Ak-Suu district took 1st place, Tyup - 2nd place, Jeti-Oguz - 3rd place.
