The Kok Boru Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic invites the national teams of Kazakhstan in Kokpar and Kok Boru to the upcoming “Unity Cup”, which will be held on November 1, 2024 in the city of Cholpon-Ata. The Kok Boru Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic expresses its desire to strengthen the friendship of the Kyrgyz and Kazakh peoples and interest in the further development of two sports, which are the true heritage of the two peoples and the legacy of the great nomads.
At the same time, we remind you that on September 8, 2024, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the World Kokpar Association and the International Kok Boru Association, where the parties agreed to hold more frequent international meetings between clubs, as well as national teams that are members of the two associations. The upcoming cup will be the first stage in the implementation of the agreements reached.
The Kok Boru Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic has already sent an official invitation to the Kokpar Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Kok Boru Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic believes that frequent holding of such tournaments will help to overcome all emerging disagreements and renew friendly relations between the federations, which have been lost over the last 8 years.
