At the VI World Ethnosports Forum in Antalya, President of the Kokburu Federation of Kyrgyzstan Ramis Dzhunusaliev met with Van Kok-Boru players. Dzhunusaliev thanked the Van Kyrgyz for the support provided to the Kyrgyz Kok-Boru players at the WNG 2022 in Turkey. “Van Kyrgyz made a huge contribution to the victory of Kyrgyzstan in kok-bor at the IV Nomad Games,” Dzhunusaliev said.
In turn, the Van Kyrgyz expressed interest in the development of kok-boru on their territory. In response to such a proposal, Ramis Dzhunusaliev noted that this year an exhibition game with famous kok-boru players of Kyrgyzstan will be organized on the territory of Van, and called on the Van Kyrgyz to contribute to the development of kok-boru. In turn, the Kyrgyz community of Van district expressed its readiness to welcome Kyrgyz athletes if they come to Turkey.
