These days, the 6th Forum of the World Ethnosport Confederation is taking place in Antalya, Turkey. Representatives of Kyrgyzstan were invited to the forum as guests. At the World Forum, opinions are expressed on the development of ethnosports games and preparations for the V World Nomad Games. The Kyrgyz delegation to the event is headed by the Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Altynbek Maksutov, accompanied by the Director of the Republican Directorate for National Sports Ulan Eraliev and the President of the Kok-Boru Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic Ramis Dzhunusaliev.
At this meeting, Kyrgyzstan held a number of meetings in a wide and narrow circle. At every meeting they said that it would be wrong to exclude kok-boru from the nomad games, declaring that this sport is an integral part of the WNG.
Also, the Kyrgyz delegation met in a narrow circle with the head of the Confederation of Ethnosports, Bilal Erdogan, and spoke in favor of including kok-boru in the nomad games. After listening to the proposals, Bilal Erdogan said that he will continue further negotiations with relevant parties on this issue.
